Observations, learning, tricking

A post from the forums I used to run.

Watching tricking videos is one of the most important things you can do to improve your tricking. So do this: everyday for the next year, carefully watch at least one tricking video and write down at least one observation.

How I do it:

Date I made the observation / [file name] / time in video / performer – trick = here is my observation.

9-19-09 / [Omen.avi] / 1:26 / Tatsumaru – hook-slant aerial = (1) left arm goes straight up to hips (2) faces the trailing leg during execution (3) right arm has aerial features (4) hook seems to impart important momentum (5) looks like an aerial until the very end.
